Thanks for all the debugging you've already done. I'm not sure whether 
it would be correct to remove that line of CSS or not.

Since this is a bug, do want to file a bug report on WebKit Bugzilla? 
Please prefix the bug title with [GTK] and select the WebKitGTK+ 
component.
