Yes, there are people using it, I'm actually shipping it in Debian
after one user requested it. But I don't think there's anything to
worry about it.

There's one more thing that we didn't mention: we are talking all the
time about distributions, but this will also affect GNOME itself:
since most applications are still using WebKit1, we need to have two
separate WebkitGTK+ tarballs in the GNOME jhbuild, much like we do
already with GTK+2 and GTK+3.
