[webkit-gtk] Isolated Worlds Status

Hi,
A while ago, I was looking into what would need to be done to replicate
the GM_xmlhttprequest functionality in uzbl, a webkit-gtk-based
microbrowser. It appears that this question was raised in 2010, and the
answer was that the upcoming Isolated Worlds feature in webkit would
allow running locally-trusted javascript with elevated privileges.
It appears that the isolated worlds concept has been implemented in
webkit, but not exposed in webkit-gtk, and the current status of Bug
#31508 ( https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31508 ) is open with a
request for interest. I'm not a dev of a project, but when I asked on
irc it seemed that the uzbl devs were simply waiting for Isolated Worlds
to be exposed to implement them.
As a user, I'm interested in this feature. What would be required to
allow webkit-gtk applications to use Isolated Worlds?
