This one seems to be the most sensible one, and with the advantage of
not precluding 3 from existing if it comes to that. I agree with you
that we should try to avoid pushing this complexity into API users,
doing so would only make sense if we find a concrete use case. Would
anyone care to explain how exposing the injected bundle to API users
help?
