Actually, as we are on the issue: it would be great if the web site
included:

 * Release notes.
 * The date of the release.
 * A SHA256 hash of the tarball, ideally signed by someone's GPG key.

Additionally it would be nice if there were a view of a directory with
all the recent releases.
