[webkit-gtk] 1.4.0 Stable Release Branch

We've just branched for the 1.4.0 stable release. This stable series
will introduce support for GTK+ 3.x and include all of the
improvements from the past year. In preparation for this release,
we're looking for testers who can build the 1.4.0 branch locally and
file bugs (http://bugs.webkit.org) against it. Please prefix any bugs
you file with "[GTK] [Stable]" to ensure they are addressed with high
priority. Running a debug build and including stack traces is highly
encouraged.

To get the stable branch code, simply check out
http://svn.webkit.org/repository/webkit/releases/WebKitGTK/webkit-1.4.0/.
Over the next few weeks we'll be merging important fixes into the
branch, so be sure to stay up to date. Thanks for your help!
