I can't remember any previous occasions where undiagnosed client breakage was expected to be investigated by another port's contributors. There is no indication that anything is wrong in WebKit yet.
As a separate point, even in cases where you can expect patch author to do initial investigation, you probably won't get much by demanding to "immediately" address fallback from a three week old patch, or else. There was even no pressure from chromium release schedule as far as I can tell, as the changeset has already been rolled out of chromium release branch before you first commented on bugs.webkit.org.
I hope this explains the matter.
