Does that mean that only Apple folk can work on it at the moment?
Is it possible that someone at Apple have a deeper look into the current state to provide more information about the missing/bad/good parts?
I'd like to put more work into it, but I need feedback from the people who use it.

It's not the most elegant way, since root usually means root, but if it's a strong requirement it should be possible.
