I'm tracking a bug that was introduced between 2010-12-17 and 2011-01-08. More than 1000 Patches were committed during that time. This makes it much harder to find the exact revision that causes the problem. What is the reason for the rare number of builds?

Reorganising the source tree like we've been doing recently means that the build scripts for the nightlies have to be updated. A number of the places where the updates were needed were very late in the build process, meaning that a three hour turnaround per attempt at a fix was required. When combined with the occasional build breakage on trunk during my attempts at spinning builds, this led to a larger dead period in the nightlies than I would have liked.
