In order for the instance of Safari you're trying to debug to link against the WebCore framework you've built, rather than the system WebCore, you need to launch it in a way that sets the DYLD_FRAMEWORK_PATH environment variable to point to your build products directory. One easy way to do this is to use Tools/Scripts/run-safari. Another way is to add Safari as a custom executable to the Xcode project. Also, make sure that you are building all of the projects (JavaScriptCore, WebCore, WebKit and WebKit2) and that they're all building into the same directory. Again, the build-webkit script takes care of this for you.
