Hi
I also tried checking out the Source tree using GIT with the following
command:
git clone git://git.webkit.org/WebKit.git WebKit
and I got the following error message:
Initialize WebKit/.git
Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/samueljd/WebKit/.git/
remote: Generating pack...
remote: Done counting 0 objects.
remote: Total 0 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0)
error: Trying to write ref refs/remotes/origin/master with nonexistant
object 916410d53198d1483758e51b7548d05c3a307210
fatal: Cannot update the ref 'refs/remotes/origin/master'.
However, I'm able to update my source from the SVN trunk.
I hope this helps!
Best regards,
Sam
