You should keep in mind that the Gtk port is a work in progress so  
your somewhat unorthodox configuration may not function entirely as  
expected.  Check http://bugs.webkit.org/ to see if any relevant bugs  
have been filed about things that do not appear to behave correctly.   
If there is no existing bug on the issue, please write up a new one so  
that it can be tracked.  As always, submitting patches is the fastest  
way to ensure that specific issues are addressed.
