Ahh, I suspected as much. I was about to say that the page here
<http://trac.webkit.org/projects/webkit/wiki/Drosera> needs to be
updated to inform users of that, but someone already did. :)

Yep, but upon further investigating, it seems there were no errors to
report. I was expecting the same volume of output as Firefox produces,
but Safari seems a lot less verbose. Using the window.console.log()
function (why did they have to make their own instead of using the
already-precedented window.dump()?) I can probably provide sufficient
debug output on my own.
