Make _ref() functions return the ref'd object

Hi, I would like to notify you that I'm landing a patch [1] to change the prototype of our *_ref() functions so that they now return the object being ref'd. This makes them more convenient to use: e.g. the following: ewk_download_job_ref(ewkDownload); ewkContext->downloadJobs.add(downloadId, ewkDownload); is replaced by: ewkContext->downloadJobs.add(downloadId, ewk_download_job_ref(ewkDownload)); This is consistent with both eina_stringshare_ref() in EFL and g_object_ref() in glib. Note that I have updated the EFL coding style wiki [2] to reflect this change. Please keep this in mind when you add new _ref() functions or when adding new code that uses them. LLInt on EFL

Hi webkit-efl, As announced on webkit-dev mailing list [1], the JSC classic interpreter was deprecated and LLint [2] is now the default and where all the development happens. Looks like we have no choice but enable it ASAP. The work on this task will be tracked on bugzilla as always [3]. Be aware that when this patch lands, ruby will be a build time dependency. WebKit2 EFL TestExpectations

Hi, A patch landed today to support cascaded TestExpectations in WebKit2 EFL [1]. We now have 2 TestExpectations files for EFL port: - LayoutTests/platform/efl/TestExpectations : Applies to both WK1-EFL and WK2-EFL - LayoutTests/platform/efl-wk2/TestExpectations: Applies to WK2-EFL only. Please keep this in mind when gardening: i.e. if a test fails for WK2 only, then add it to efl-wk2/TestExpectations, not efl/TestExpectations. We should now do our best to keep the WebKit2-EFL bot green as well. FYI, there is currently no TestExpectations for tests that are failing for WK1-EFL only (and not WK2). This is however something we may need to consider in the near future. Hi All, 1. I want to know how DerivedSources.make file is getting included in the build system? I am more interested in Sources/WebKit2/DerivedSources.make 2. Is it possible to include xyz.make in DerivedSources.make Regards, Kishore

Dear EFL Webkit members, I read from the efl webkit porting page that the port uses cairo for rendering. Can someone explain to me how this is done or which source files to look at regarding the implementation? Regards, Sanjeev
