Hello, WebKit/EFL guys. Could anyone know why we use *.c like ewk_view_single.c and ewk_view_tiled.c? Although EFL is based on C, but WebKit is not. If we don't have any reason, I think that we reconcile extensions to remove warning and clear APIs.

Dear all webkit efl developers, This is the notification for double checking. :-) One public api below in ewk_view will be removed if there is no objection for it. And of course, all remaing codes related with it will be eliminated too. EAPI void ewk_view_tiled_process_entire_queue_set(Evas_Object *o, Eina_Bool flag); Related patch has been registered as https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63377. webkit2 plugin's process: drawing on evas object

Hello all, I want to draw plugin in webkit2 directly on evas object created in UI Process. We have separated processes: UIProcess, WebProcess and PluginProcess. In windowless plugins shared memory buffer is created, and plugin draws on it, then makes updates. I'm thinking about following scenario: UIProcess creates evas_object image and shared memory buffer representing plugin, buffer is sent to plugin(PluginProcess) and there frames are drawn, on updates plugin informs UIProcess about it, and new frame is drawn. On resize new buffer is created in UIProcess and plugin is notified about this. What do you think about this? Is there any better idea? Regards Mariusz

But that's just me :) Warning I mentioned is because they can't include ewk_private.h. Recently, I moved ewk_view_repaint_add from ewk_view.h to ewk_private.h to remove Ewk_Private dependency. Now, ewk_view_tiled.c doesn't know ewk_view_repaint_add in ewk_private.h. We can provide additional private header file to split APIs used by *.c. But IMO, souce code in ewk/ should be able to include ewk_private.h Best Regards, Ryuan Choi

For now, webkit-efl supports web socket feature but that is not enabled. All the implementation is already done on Source/WebCore/websocket/ If you want to test it, then you just enable WEB_SOCKET feature by modifing Source/cmake/OptionsEfl.cmake like below WEBKIT_FEATURE(ENABLE_WEB_SOCKETS "Enable web sockets" DEFAULT ON) And you could use Demos tab of http://jwebsocket.org/ for testing. I've already tested web socket feature with webkit-efl port, it works well. Best regards. Remove pre-render priority flags

Hello, webkit-efl port developer! I am slowly preparing pre-rendering code to sync with upstream code. Before I starts in earnest, I try to remove pre-render priority code. Pre-rendering concept is for drawing tiles outside viewport in idle time. So it always works after drawing the tiles in viewport. But there is a priority flags (low,high) to add a request in drawing queue. I think it is not necessary for the present, might be useful in future. In upstream code, there is no priority flags for pre-rendering, I try to remove _Ewk_Tiled_Backing_Store_Pre_Render_Priority to keep pace with upstream. https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65504 Thank you for reading!
