Question about Apple's versioning policy
Hi When taking a look into commits, there're many versioning commits. Sometime it's so frequent but other time, it very quiet for a week. What is the versioning policy Apple operates? Major version is almost obvious, but minor version is never used for last 5 years. Only tiny version keep updating until major version bumps up. The question is what situation do you decide to bump up tiny version? We want to follow the versioning too if that is appropriate for us. Cheers ----- Basuke Suzuki SONY PlayStation
We increment that version whenever we need to based on internal processes that should be opaque. If that works for you then use it, otherwise use your own versioning.
