I think it may be a problem of Qt because the official safari works well. The signal mechanism of Qt makes it difficult to debug the problem. I cannot find out who send "FinishLoading" signal to QWebpage.

have you tried w/ other webkit ports ? it can be not qt-specific (?)

While open nytimes in Qtlauncher(built with QT4.5, QT4.3.3) or QTDIR/examples/webkit/previewer(webkit integrated in QT 4.3.3), the topmost bar cannnot be rendered.
